Internal Stakeholder / Project

Within the scope of an interdisciplinary project planned in cooperation between the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Fine Arts, a visit was made to the Faculty of Fine Arts on 12 February 2026.

The visit was carried out by the project team consisting of Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Hande Kandur Arslan, Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Lect. Özkan Yazar, and Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts academics Lect. Z. Ceren Akkök and Res. Asst. Necati Karakaş.

The meeting, hosted by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and project coordinator Prof. Dr. Didem Çatal, was also attended by Head of the Department of Ceramics and Glass Prof. Dr. M. Fatih Karagül, Head of the Department of Graphic Design Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Can Metin, and Department of Ceramics and Glass academic Lect. M. Berrin Kayman Karagül. During the meeting, evaluations were made regarding the general framework of the project process, the interdisciplinary cooperation model, and the active participation of students in the process.

The project is expected to contribute to bringing together the knowledge and practical experience of the fields of fine arts and culinary arts on a shared platform, and to support the development of an innovative, multidisciplinary project culture within the university.
