Academic Staff Visit to University of Oradea, Faculty of Environmental Protection under the Erasmus Teaching Mobility and Staff Mobility Program

Erasmus Teaching Mobility and Staff Mobility Program

Lecturer Özkan Yazar, a faculty member of GUBY Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, participated in an Erasmus Teaching Mobility and Staff Mobility Program at the University of Oradea, Faculty of Environmental Protection in Oradea, Romania.

As part of the program, Lecturer Özkan Yazar conducted practical presentations of selected Turkish cuisine dishes to both master's and bachelor's level students in the Gastronomy program. Additionally, meetings were held with department faculty to discuss collaborative projects and continued cooperation between departments.

Furthermore, on May 10, 2024, Lecturer Özkan Yazar served as an honorary jury member at an international gastronomy/cooking competition. He experienced and evaluated the competing dishes, and presented awards to the winners. As a token of appreciation, Lecturer Özkan Yazar was awarded the International Jury Award by the department faculty to commemorate the day.
