The second day of events at TEKNOFEST 2025 continued at Gökçeada Airport with great enthusiasm. The stand of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), featuring its schools from Gökçeada, attracted significant attention from official protocol members and visitors.
The second day of TEKNOFEST 2025 at Gökçeada Airport was marked by vibrant activities and notable visits. The event was honored by the presence of Çanakkale Governor Mr. Ömer Toraman, Gökçeada District Governor Mr. Osman Acar, Mayor Mr. Bülent Ecevit Atalay, ÇOMÜ Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Arda Aydın, MEYOK Coordinator Instructor Engin Gür, and numerous other public institution directors. The dignitaries observed the competitions and demonstration flights at the festival grounds.
Following the aerial displays, the protocol members visited the stand of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. The stand was a collaborative effort, featuring the Gökçeada Applied Sciences School (GUBY), the Gökçeada Vocational School (GMYO), the Dardanos Campus, and the University's Technopark.
At the stand, guests were provided with comprehensive information about the participating schools and the wider university. Additionally, refreshments prepared by the university's academic staff were served to the protocol and visitors as a gesture of hospitality.
Throughout the event, the academic and administrative staff of GUBY were present at the stand to guide and inform visitors. As the ÇOMÜ family, we will continue to be on-site tomorrow to contribute to the technological journey of the youth throughout the duration of TEKNOFEST 2025.
