Gökçeada Mayor Bülent Ecevit Atalay visited the Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ) Gökçeada Asiye Karadeniz Campus, meeting with academic staff, administrators, and students to strengthen town-gown relations.

During the visit, Mayor Atalay held discussions with:

• Lecturer Özkan Yazar, Vice Director of Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences and Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts

• Lecturer Ayşe Bozdağ Ateş, Vice Director of Gökçeada Vocational School

The meetings focused on enhancing collaboration between the university and municipality, with concrete steps planned for future initiatives.

Mayor Atalay also engaged directly with students, listening to their concerns and noting their requests to address campus-life improvements.
