Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences Organizes Island Tour as Part of Orientation Activities

As part of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Orientation Program, Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences organized an island tour for newly enrolled students on October 2, 2024. The event, supported by the Gökçeada Municipality, was accompanied by faculty members including:

  • Lecturer Özkan Yazar, Vice Director of the School and Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts

  • Lecturer Ufuk Ateş, faculty member from the same department

During the tour, students visited prominent locations on the island such as Zeytinliköy and Tepeköy. They received detailed information about Gökçeada's historical, cultural, and natural attractions, while also having their questions about island life answered.

This activity provided new students with a valuable opportunity to explore their new environment and integrate into the island community.
