As part of the 2024-2025 Academic Year Orientation Week, an Orientation Meeting was held on September 24, 2024, to support the adjustment of newly enrolled students to Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences (GUBY) and life in Gökçeada. The meeting was attended by first-year students, the school administration, and academic staff.
The event began with a welcome speech by Dr. Hande Kandur Arslan, Director of GUBY, followed by an orientation presentation delivered by Lecturer Özkan Yazar, Vice Director and Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, who shared essential information about the school and the island. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session addressing students' questions.
