TURAK Field Team Visited Our External Stakeholders in Gökçeada

Accreditation

As part of the TURAK accreditation application of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences, external stakeholder visits were carried out by the site evaluation team of the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (TURAK).

The field team visits were conducted in the company of GUBY Director Assist. Prof. Dr. Hande Kandur Arslan, Deputy Director Lect. Özkan Yazar, and GUBY Acting Secretary Medet Yıldırım. Within the scope of the program, the businesses İmroz Arnaki, Biyer Kafe Dükkan, Mustafa'nın Kayfesi, Yeşil Ev Boutique Hotel & Cafe Gökçeada, and Panaya Hotel Panagia İmroz, which are among the department's stakeholders in Gökçeada, were visited.

During these visits, the TURAK evaluation team had the opportunity to examine on site the cooperation processes of the stakeholder businesses with the department, the practical training opportunities they offer to students, and their contributions to industry-department interaction.

Throughout the accreditation process, our stakeholders made significant contributions to our department's quality assurance efforts through the support, cooperation, and hospitality they provided. We thank all our stakeholder businesses for their valuable contributions to the process.
