Lecturer Özkan Yazar, Vice Director of the Gökçeada Applied Sciences School and Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), paid a visit to the management of the hotel facility at the university's significant application center, the Dardanos Campus. The visit focused on discussing potential collaboration to enhance practical training opportunities for students.

Lecturer Özkan Yazar, Vice Director of the Gökçeada Applied Sciences School and Head of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), conducted an internal stakeholder visit to the management of the hotel facility located within the university's prominent Dardanos Campus.

The primary aim of the visit was to explore opportunities for expanding the practical application of gastronomy education provided in Gökçeada. Discussions centered on utilizing the hotel and social facilities at the Dardanos Campus to offer students broader hands-on experience. The meeting served as a productive platform to evaluate potential collaboration on student internships, joint projects, events, and vocational training programs.

The discussions also included engagements with faculty members from the ÇOMÜ Tourism Faculty's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, namely Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlker Türkeri and Asst. Prof. Dr. Erhan Babaç.

This collaborative step is acknowledged as a significant development. It is expected to not only promote the unique gastronomic identity of Gökçeada but also to enhance the utilization of the Dardanos Campus as a central hub for education and practical application.
