Workshop on Seafood Products Held as Part of Culinary Curriculum

On October 9, 2024, Lecturer Özge Büyük hosted a special workshop within the "Seafood Products" course at Gökçeada School of Applied Sciences, featuring guest expert Businessman Can Dağınık.

The workshop focused on:

  • Hands-on demonstration of scorpion fish (iskorpit) preparation techniques

  • Detailed professional insights about the fish's characteristics and culinary applications

  • Interactive session where students participated in practical applications

The event concluded with a certificate presentation to Mr. Dağınık, acknowledging his valuable contributions. Lecturer Ufuk Ateş, Assistant Head of the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, attended the closing ceremony.
